Earl Riley
President

A Seattle resident since 1982, Earl has been clean and sober since 1992 and a devoted member of Cherry Hall ever since. He worked as a transit operator for King County Metro and served over 20 years as a union shop steward. Earl’s leadership experience guides his role at Cherry Hall. He also owns and operates “Skip’s Best Ref’s,” which provides referees for youth basketball leagues across Greater King County.

Joe Black
Vice President

Born and raised in Seattle, Joe has been clean and sober since 2009 and a Cherry Hall member since 2013. He is a State-Certified Peer Support Mental Health Specialist with more than 14 years of experience and a successful real estate entrepreneur. Joe volunteers in jails and institutions, offering hope and guidance to those navigating recovery and transitioning from treatment.

Kari Curry
Treasurer

Seattle-born in 1961, Kari joined Cherry Hall in 1997, the same year she embraced sobriety. Her role as Procurement Contract Buyer for the Seattle Housing Authority has prepared her well for board leadership. Kari mentors marginalized women and actively participates in a variety of 12-step service work.

Jasper Brooks
Assistant Treasurer

Jasper has called Seattle home since 1983 and has been clean and sober since 1990. He joined Cherry Hall that same year and collaborated with the Hall’s founders during its formative years. As a successful business owner, Jasper has built extensive connections across Washington’s political and professional communities.

Robert Gates
Sergeant at Arms

A Seattle resident since 1959, Robert became clean and sober in 1988 and joined Cherry Hall in 2001. After retiring from the Carpenters Union in 2020, he continued his work as a carpenter for the Seattle Housing Authority. Robert volunteers by collecting and distributing essential household items to low-income families.

Terina Ezell
Activities Chair

Born in Seattle in 1972, Terina has been clean and sober since 2018 and immediately became involved with Cherry Hall. She works as a Case Manager with Catholic Community Services, providing outreach and support to marginalized communities. Her passion is centered on serving the homeless and women in recovery.

Reggie Mayo
Member at Large

Reggie has been clean and sober since 2006 and has maintained membership to Cherry Hall since 1988. A Union Carpenter since 1978, his expertise contributes to the Hall’s ongoing maintenance and renovation efforts. He also serves on his local OHA board, combining construction knowledge with community activism.

Kenneth Gildon
Member at Large

A Seattle resident since 1983, Kenneth has been clean and sober since 1994 and joined Cherry Hall in 2012. As a contractor specializing in sanitizing hospital emergency rooms and surgical suites, he applies meticulous care to his work. He also founded the “Band of Brothers,” an AA support group for men in recovery.

Michael Booker
Member at Large

Michael moved to Seattle in 1979 and has been sober since 1989. He retired as an Account Manager for AT&T, where he honed management and financial skills. His volunteer work includes service at the Juvenile Detention Center and Seattle Union Gospel Mission. Today, he is a youth minister and board member at Martin Luther King Memorial Baptist Church, where he has ministered for over 38 years.

Rahmaud Lawrence
Member at Large

Rahmaud has been a clean and sober member of Cherry Hall since 2013 and living in Seattle since 2016. He is currently an active member of Labor Union 2020 and shares his experience and hope through H&I panels at juvenile treatment centers, supporting young people struggling with addiction.
